Hybrid Car Safety Class

SOGGDA sponsored a Hybrid car safety class. A new Toyota 2010 Prius was loaned to SOGGDA for this class thanks to Jack Walker Toyota in Centerville, OH. The Meeting was hosted by All Pro Towing and SOGGDA TREASURER, Jim O’Rourke at their shop at 102 West Park Road Centerville, OH on July 28^th. A City BBQ dinner for 35 local technicians was also provided by SOGGDA.

The 3 hour class was lead by Mitchell 1 Rep Guy Garrett who also provides classes to local fire and rescue first responders. All safety aspects of working with all hybrids on the roads today were covered.

 A Safety Procedure CD was distributed to all attendees and a copy is also available from the SOGGDA office. We hope to have Guy Garrett lead more classes for SOGGDA in the near future. Guy also works with BOSCH scan tools in the southern Ohio area.
